The challenges of administering and running EMI in a Catalan/ Spanish bilingual university

In this panel academic staff involved in EMI will discuss their personal experience with EMI, commenting on how they came to be involved with EM; the positive and negative aspects of the experience; the dynamic between the three main languages ‘in competition’ in Catalan universities- Catalan, Spanish and English; and how this trilingula dynamic plays out, not only in the classroom but also outside (e.g. the use of English in conferences and publications).
