“I am not becoming British — I am just more International”: reflection on identity changes while studying and working in London
In this short presentation, I would like to share with the audience my experience of studying and working in a multilingual and multicultural university in London. My talk will be centred around how opportunities and multicultural activities have changed my identity and my world outlook during my stay in London. More importantly, I would like to discuss with the audience how multilingual and multicultural universities can bring about changes to individuals and societies and what challenges we face in increasingly globalized universities and societies.
