Normalising minority language usage among young Gaelic-speaking adults in Scotland
Using Gaelic development projects at the University of Glasgow as an illustration, this paper will reflect on the value, necessity and impact of language normalisation initiatives in the lives of young Gaelic-speaking adults and consider whether language normalisation strategies are being prioritised appropriately within Gaelic language planning in Scotland.
